Russell Houston has enjoyed applying his talents to an uncommon subject... Cowboy golf.  Each of Russ' paintings poke fun at a lighter side of cowboy recreation.

These paintings have been featured in a wide variety of national magazines and newspapers including: People Magazine, Sports Illustrated, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Boston Globe and The Arizona Republic.

Russ is a graduate of Art Center College of Design.  He was an award winning illustrator before turning to Western Art.  Russell lives in the White Mountains of Arizona in the small town of Eagar with his wife and three children.
